Biogas integration
Anaerobic digestion of the organic fraction, captured as methane. The gas has four uses and most sites take more than one: piped as a direct LPG substitute to commercial kitchens and municipal canteens; routed through absorption chillers to run off-grid cold storage for agricultural hubs; burned in gensets for base-load power that runs the facility's own shredders and extruders; and the digestate pelletised as a pathogen-free soil conditioner.
The cold-storage application is often the one that changes a municipality's mind — it turns a waste facility into agricultural infrastructure.
